Meeting You
“Sometimes the bravest and most important thing you can do is just show up.” Brené Brown
A taster session to meet me
It is natural to feel nervous meeting a counsellor for the first time. It's important that you feel comfortable with me and that I'm the right therapist for you. To allow you to explore whether I am the right person, I offer a free 25 minute consultation online. This provides you with the opportunity to ask any questions that you may have & is an opportunity to experience what it will be like to work with me.
Your first appointment
Your first appointment will involve an overview of how you are feeling at this moment in time and to determine what you would like to attend counselling for. We can discuss the number of sessions you may need. You may have had counselling before and we can talk through what worked for you and what didn't. This will help ensure we find the best way for you to use each session.
Subsequent appointments
The number of weekly sessions you attend will depend on our progress together, which we will regularly review to assess your needs. Some people opt for 6 to 8 weeks, while others choose to continue for a longer period. You are free to end counselling at any time, and we can work together for as long as you require.
Working hours
I offer flexible weekday appointments between 8:00am to 6:00pm to allow you to pick a time that best suits you.
